Job Title: ACCOUNTS OFFICER
- Preparation of Petty Cash and Cash Books
- Issue of cheques and official receipts
- Filing of Tax, VAT and Social Security Fund contribution returns
- Monthly reconciliation of Bank Statements with Cash Book
- Deposit and withdrawal of funds to and from bank
- Assist in the preparation of final accounts for decision making
- Assist to develop short, medium and long – term financial plans and budgets
- Assist to develop financial systems, policies, processes, procedures and controls for the management of financial resources
- Provide financial information and reports to regulators such as Bank of Ghana, Securities & Exchange Commission & National Pensions Regulatory Authority.
- Assist in planning, organizing and controlling the affairs of the Company for the fulfilment of its strategic objectives.
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of a Degree in Accounting or Commerce
- At least 2 years working experience after National Service
- Completion of GSE Courses is an added advantage
- A good understanding of the financial market
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office Package, especially Excel
- The ability to quickly and aptly analyse and carryout instructions
- Must be a team player
- Must a person of high integrity
