The Akatakyiman Rural Bank Ltd with headquarters in Komenda, C/R, invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for the following position.

Job Function:

  • Deliver an efficient administrative and communication systems to help management in planning and organising the human and physical resources of the bank.
  • Report to the Chief Executive Officer

The successful candidate will be required, among others, to:

  • Type, receive and dispatch official mails
  • Develop robust filing systems for the Chief Executive Officer’s secretariat and other units of the bank
  • Be in charge of insurance and rentals businesses
  • Ensure that Plant, Property and Equipment (PPE) issues are efficiently managed
  • Handle staff matters- staff files, annual leave, medical/hospital attendance, Board and staff meetings, correspondence, circulars, filing systems, etc
  • Supervise general housekeeping activities – display of audited and financial statements, seating arrangement and adequacy of banking hall space
  • Ensure environmental tidiness within the bank
  • Co-ordinate, organise and control all marketing, public relations and promotional activities


Required Skills or Experience


The right candidate must possess the following:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Secretaryship & Management Studies or
  • Level 2 of acceptable professional qualification eg, CISA, CIM
  • A minimum of three years post qualification work experience in a banking or related institution
  • Superior communications, interpersonal, writing, verbal skills, with strong ability to write report and minutes
  • Additional training in Public Relations and Communication from a recognised professional institution will be an advantage
