Our Client is in Advertising and Media Business. They are currently setting up a unit here in Ghana and are looking to employ a General Manager, Advertising. Would be expected to report to South Africa and liaise with Nigeria.
Role Profile:
Responsible for setting up the Ghana Office and managing it operations.
Duties:
- Lead Agency Set up, pitches and Grow Agency Top line Revenue
- Write In-Depth, Very Strategic, Metrics Based Proposals
- Develop and Articulate In-Depth, Very Strategic Integrated Marketing Programs
- Will be the main point of call for servicing existing and new clients.
- Be heavily engaged in all client relationships, all clients projects and ensure performance level (of “exceed expectations”) for all client relationships.
- Effectively present, sell and defend all agency work/proposals to clients.
- Work with Creative Team to develop the very best, strategically aligned concepts.
- Coordinate project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel.
- Compulsively manage all agency personnel, agency processes, and ensure highest attention to details
- Run day to day operations of a full service Integrated Ad Agency
- Hire and groom new agency employees as needed
- Any other duties as assigned by head office in South Africa.
Required Skills or Experience
- A Degree holder (Trained in a relevant field- Advertising, Marketing, Media etc.)
- Senior ad agency experience
- 5 years in a similar role
