Job Purpose:
To plan, direct and control the delivery of Network Strategy by ensuring Technical plans are converted from business objectives to deliver best quality at lower cost and innovative Capex productivity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic inputs to Group Planning and Airtel Ghana Network Director towards the formulation of optimal network roadmaps that encompasses Airtel Ghana requirements
• Managing Capex-Monitor the implementation of Network deployment plans/projects and direct compliance to budget
• Co-ordinate the validation of Network Capex plans from partners/vendors to ensure quality and cost effective plans
• Ensure compliance to applicable regulations and monitor availability of all relevant documentation, across relevant touch points to meet compliance requirements
• Ensure all vendor Network Equipments on the network can interoperate with one another without glitch
• Ensure all Vendor Network equipments can be enhanced for current and future business needs

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical & Electronics, or relayed fields)
• Sound knowledge of Mobile Network Planning, Optimization and O&M
• Excellent Analytical and Presentation skills
• 10-12 years varied experience in Planning, Implementation, Operation and Maintenance in the Telecom industry
• 5 years Managerial experience in a GSM/mobile company, with at least 3 years Senior Management experience in area of Network Planning
• Ability to innovate and deliver value to business
• Ability to manage an Outsourcing partner to deliver business solution
• Ability to motivate and lead
