ASA Savings and Loans Limited, incorporated on 19th of June 2009 with registration number CA-60,423 by the Registrar General Department under the Laws of Ghana, is a private company limited by shares with its head office in Accra. The company is also registered by Ghana Investment Promotional Center [GIPC] and licensed by Bank of Ghana [BoG] and commenced Savings & Loans operations from April 2013.

ASA Savings and Loans Limited took over from ASA Ghana, a Financial Non Governmental Organization operating as micro finance institution and replicating the successful microfinance model of ASA Bangladesh.

ASA Savings and Loans Ltd seek the services of Loan Officers / Savings Mobilisation Officers in following regions, Greater Accra, Ashanti Region, Brong Ahafo Region, Central Region, Western Region, Eastern Region. Currently, the company is serving over 153,000 clients across six regions in 108 business units.

Job Description

Job Title: Loan Officers / Savings Mobilisation Officers (20 Positions)

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum qualification of HND from a recognised institution but first degree will be added advantage
•   Must be computer literate
•   Must be Ghanaian
•   Must be within the Ages of 20 – 30 years

Key Competencies / skills required

•   Must be able to find clients, disburse loans and collect installments
•   Must be able to capture data into all books of account and in software
•   Must be able to prepare credit plans for the organised groups
•   Must be able to mobilize savings deposit
•   Must be team player
•   Any other duties that may be assigned
