Job Description
Implement policies relating to the effective use of personnel within the Bank. Ensure that the Bank employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience
Arrange and organise required training and development opportunities to employees and Directors in order to enhance their performance and to enable the Bank achieve the goals and objectives set for itself
The successful candidate must:
Work closely with the departments and agencies
Assist the Manager and the Board to understand and implement policies and procedures
Interpretation and Implementation of the collective agreement for all staff. The development and implementation of performance driven appraisal system across board
Liaising with the wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance, staff welfare and health and safety issues
Recruitment: Employee engagement, attendance and Leave Management: Payroll and personal file management: This includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates
Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the Bank
Required Skills or Experience
A minimum of First Degree in Human Resource and a Masters is an added advantage or its equivalent from a recognised institution
A minimum of three (3) years working experience
Knowledge of existing labour laws and related issues in Ghana
Excellent computer skills with expertise in power point, word, excel and outlook
Experience of organising workshops
The person should be between the ages of 35 and 45 years
