1. Job Description

Job Title: Treasurer

Job Summary

•   Reporting to the CEO, the Treasurer will be required to re-organise the company’s treasury function and run it as a vibrant and viable profit centre.

Responsibilities:

•   Manage the institution’s cashflows to ensure compliance with regulatory liquidity limits as well as with the company’s own liquidity policy
•   Responsible for ensuring that the company’s liquidity management policy is up dated regularly to keep it adequate for the needs of the business at all times.
•   Actively trade in treasury products
•   Manage treasury risks proactively and diligently to avoid loss, non-compliance or the risk of fraud.
•   Have primary responsibility for the instition’s assets and liabilities including serving as the chairman of the institution’s ALCO
•   Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
•   As part of the company’s management team, the treasurer will be required to contribute to strategy formulation and execution as well as assist the CEO in the day-to-day running of the business.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, Banking, Mathematics or Economics
•   5 years treasury experience in a similar management role
•   Good understanding of the local and international treasury markets including a good working knowledge of treasury products.
•   Ability to work independently without much technical supervision

2. Job Description

Job Title: Lawyer / Admin. Manager

Job Summary

•   Reporting to the CEO, the role holder will provide the company with general legal advisory services, manage the company collateral security arrangement, assume responsibility for the company’s regulatory compliance and serve as the liaison officer between the company and its external lawyers. The role also carries additional responsibility for the company’s human resource management and general administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

•   Review, evaluate and advise on all legal documents of interest to the company and contracts that the company is either a party to or in which it has a beneficial interest.
•   Advise on legal cases of interest to the company and where necessary prepare legal files and briefs for cases that the company will have to take to court
•   Regularly review the conduct of the company’s business wth special refernce to modus operandi and documentation to advise on the most effective ways to protect the legal interests of the company.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A qualified lawyer called to the Ghana Bar. An advanced degree in corporate law will be an added advantage
•   Legal experience experience of between 3 to 5 years in a reputable law firm or in a corporate environment.
•   Experience in the Financial Services industry will be a distinct advantage
•   Comprehensive knowledge on legal matters relating to banking, employment, property, corporate governance, commerce and company secretarial services
•   Previous HR training and experience will be a distinct advantage. Lawyers with interest in HR but without any HR experience are however encouraged to apply
•   Leadership and strong management skills
•   Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills

Job Title: IT Officer

Job Summary

•   The IT Officer will assist the IT Manager in managing the company’s IT infrastructure in delivering IT support services to the company.

Responsibilities:

•   Perform preventive maintenance duties on information system assets within the organisation which will include both hardware and software maintenance.
•   Monitor and maintain general ICT cosumable stock to ensure adequate supplies are available in a timely and cost effective manner ensuring Best Value at all times.
•   Perform tasks aimed at ensuring compliance with the company’s information systems policy
•   support the roll-out of new applications

Qualification Required & Experience

•   At least first degree level or HND level certification in computer science, computer engineering or related field from a recognised tertiary institution
•   Demonstrated knowledge of relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL, etc)
•   Knowledge of some computer programming language (PHP, SQL, VB, etc)
•   Demonstrated knowledge of IT hardware and software maintenance and repair
•   Familiarity with software and applications used in the Financial Service industry will be an added advantage
•   Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity
•   Two years experience in a similar capacity

4. Job Description

Job Title: Personal Assistant to the CEO.

Job Summary

•   The job purpose is to provide administrative support and professional assistance to the CEO in is day-to-day running of the business.

Responsibilities:

•   Manage CEO’s diary and his overall itinerary.
•   Manage CEO’s secretariat and his guests
•   Serve as a liaison officer between the CEO and his direct reports
•   Provide secretarial support for the preparation and circulation of Board Reports
•   Organise Meetings/Company Events including Board meetings
•   Serve as Secretary at Management Committee and ALCO meeting as well as standing-in for the company Secretary at Board meetings, when the need arises.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree in Administration or relevant programme
•   Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
•   Two (2) or more years experience in similar roles.
•   Good communication – both verbal and written.
•   Excellent organizational interpersonal skills are essential.
•   Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise in order to meet deadlines.
