Systems Administrator Vacancy

  • Planning upgrades, operating and maintaining the company’s servers
  • Implementing Systems and Controls, ensuring only authorized users have access to company systems
  • Specifying the recommended changes in Technology and Systems to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Ensuring standard turnout times for problem resolutions are met
  • Preparing timely weekly and monthly reports for the Management and the General Manager to ensure they are kept up to date with developments in the business operations
  • Rectifying all Systems identified problems during the day to ensure that the organisation keeps 99.9% up time and boots customers’ confidence and satisfaction
  • Performing any other duties and responsibilities with the intent and scope of the job as directed by the Management or the General Manager


Required Skills or Experience

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Science or Information Communication Technology
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in this capacity
  • Microsoft/Cisco Certifications will be an added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and for extended hours
  • Good reporting skills and ability to meet deadlines
