1. Project Manager – Nutrition Outcomes for Women (NOW)

  • A Master’s degree in public health and nutrition, health science, or related field
  • Five years of relevant working experience
  • A minimum of five years practical project management experience, including financial management
  • Networking and rights based approaches to development
  • Proven experience in working with partners is key to this position
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking ability and decision making
  • Proven and demonstrable facilitation skills, negotiation skills and networking skills
  • Commitment to and understanding of a process and livelihood approach to development
  • Excellent professionalism, relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to build commitment of others, developing teams and operational decision making
  • Adherence to CARE’s core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment & Excellence) and competencies
  • Good spoken English and excellent English writing skills
2. Communication Officer – Agriculture & Natural Resources (ANR)
  • Master’s degree in Communications, Social Sciences or Journalism or Bachelor’s degree plus significant working experience
  • Relevant working experience of at least two years, part of which must be in the development sector
  • Good team player and self driven
  • The candidate must have practical experience of media relations in Ghana
  • Understanding of cross-cutting issues within Ghana especially in relation to gender and pro-poor policies. Especially with regard to Agriculture & Natural Resources and Environment
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques
  • INGO experience is an advantage
  • Communication Skills is key

3. Information and Knowledge Management Officer
  • A minimum qualification of a university degree, in a relevant discipline such as rural development or social science
  • At least eight years of relevant working experience, including a minimum of five years working on information & knowledge management, including M&E
  • Strong practical experience and knowledge of developing and implementing information & knowledge management systems
  • Strong practical experience with facilitating learning processes and with participatory monitoring & evaluation
  • Positive experiences working with local and international partners and relationship-building
  • Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to gender and diversity
  • Well developed written and oral and communication skills
  • Strong facilitation, People Skills, Computer skills, Integrity and Resilience/Adaptation and flexibility
  • Adherence to CARE’s core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment & Excellence) and competencies
4. Project Facilitator – Nutrition Outcomes for Women (NOW) Project
  • First degree in a relevant discipline such as Agriculture, horticulture, agronomy or agric extension
  • Three years of relevant working experience, including a minimum of three years field practical experience in working with rural communities, including women groups
  • Proven experience and understanding of nutrition and food security issues linked to reproductive health and child malnutrition
  • Experience in working with partners is key to this position
  • Adherence to CARE’s core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment & Excellence) and competencies
  • Proven and demonstrable facilitation skills, negotiation skills and networking skills, including facilitating change, innovation and initiating action
  • Commitment to and understanding of a process and livelihood approach to development
  • Excellent professionalism, relationship building and communication skills
