Job Description

Job Title: Videographer

GENERAL DUTIES

• This job requires you to capture and create Brand stories about BEIGE and its activities for use on social channels, using basic videography tools and apt video editing software.
• You must be an ambitious and powerful storyteller with your a videos with detailed presentation. You will take video from initial original creative to polished final cut. Video projects will range from self-shot to directing talent and crew members at multiple locations or studio shoots, across various platforms.
• You shall produce at least one video story every month in consultation with the brand strategic direction of BEIGE. Your campaigns must be very engaging to our stakeholders in an innovative way. This role demands that you pay critical attention to detail as well as have a creative flair.
• You must work closely with your colleagues, such as the Graphic Designers, Copywriter(s), Public Relations Officer(s), Photographer(s), Videographer(s) etc… to enable you understand the message they seek to communicate for the brand and how they want that message represented in your production(s).

You must:

• Be flexible with work scheduling (sometimes weekend and/or evening hours)
• Have the ability to drive your Team Members to meet timelines.
• Your Tasks also include:
• finding out about the project requirements (taking a ‘brief’)
• Estimating the time, the project will require and managing your schedule to ensure timelines are met
• Coming up with video stories and production concepts that fit the communication needs of BEIGE
• Presenting video campaign options for review and amending accordingly if required
• Editing of videos
• Operates complex video and audio equipment
• Transporting video and audio equipment to various sites for the purpose of videotaping
• Ensuring that proof reading is thoroughly done before final production
• May use computer applications software in the performance of the job
• Supervising all video and photo productions to check and endorse job completion report(s).
• Working within approved budgets
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.

Required Skills or Experience

• With at least two years continuous working experience in the design industry
• Compatible with Adobe Illustrator (Al) Software
• Compatible with Photoshop application
• Compatible Coral Draw application
• Must have knowledge in Printing, Photography and Illustration
• Ability to work with less/no supervision
• With a minimum qualification in HND from a recognised tertiary institution
• Knowledge of large format printing
