Job Description

Job Title: IP Network Infrastructure Manager

Role Purpose

To lead the design, planning and implementation of IP Infrastructure network technologies in line with Vodafone’s network strategy.Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

• Defines and articulates the current position and future strategies for Vodafone Ghana IP network infrastructure.
• Works with the all stakeholders to ensure the roadmap is planned, resourced, financed and executed.
• Defines and ensures adherence to best practice for the CPN and service designs requiring connectivity to the CPN.
• Accountable for the timely delivery of new IP Infrastructure capacity and capability into the network
• Drives value from suppliers for hardware, software, licence and support costs to drive down total cost of ownership for the capability/capabilities.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, And Experience

• In-depth knowledge of IP/MPLS Technology and IP traffic engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Vodafone Converged Packet Network (CPN) and other Vodafone networks and systems
• Experience in network and service planning, architecture, design, integration, acceptance test procedure
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

• University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
• Certification in CCNA/CCDP/CCNP & PRINCE2/PMP
