Financial Manager
The Financial Manager shall be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Bank’s general ledger accounting system, recording of the Bank’s financial transactions, preparation and interpretation of financial reports, and regulatory financial information reporting. Role reports to the Managing Director
Role Specific Requirements:
- Ensure the accurate and timely monthly reporting of financial information
- Managing the processes and systems for formulating and evaluating business performance including planning, forecasting and budgeting, advanced analysis of financial data and team’s profitability
- Support business to review product program/document with special emphasis on appropriate financial accounting
- Prepare various analyses for the needs of the top management
- Build on key team coherence to deliver on Business Support performance objectives
- Assist in the review of month/quarter/year-end financials for completeness and accuracy
- Serve as the point person for external auditors’ quarterly financial reviews and year-end audit
- Assume responsibility for the Bank’s internal and external audit requests
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum Qualification:
- 8 years minimum experience with 3 years in managerial role
- Masters Degree from a recognized university in Finance/Accounting
- ACCA, ICAG, CFA
- Good oral and written communication
- Proficient in MS office suite
- Knowledge of accounting software is a plus
