At Early Excellence Academy, we merge biblical principles with a carefully prepared, fun and loving environment that encourages children to develop their inner selves as they learn individually at their own pace. As such, the learning environment here is dynamic with a wealth of concrete, manipulative learning materials that encourage the child to discover and learn during the crucial early childhood years (0-6). Our classes are multi-aged to encourage the older children of the environment to foster leadership skills. Both social and intellectual development is enhanced by this method of age grouping.

Job Description

Job Title: Nursery 1, 2 and Kindergarten Teachers

Salary will depend on Qualification and Experience. 

• The suitable candidate will be working within a mixed-age Early Years classroom of 15-36-month-olds and 3-6-year-olds).  If you have a passion for children and take pride in creating and sustaining the highest-quality educational environment, this position is for you!  We are looking for teachers with all levels of experience.
• An important part of your role will be communicating closely with parents to a) give them a window into the Montessori classroom, b) educate them about the school’s philosophy, and c) provide insight into their child’s individual progress (writing Progress reports twice a year).
• Be able to plan and engage the children in various activities including art projects
• Be able to ensure safety and cleanliness amongst the students
• You will be working with a Director who is Montessori Certified and has a lot of international experience. Attention to detail and excellence will be highly required.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates seeking to occupy these positions must:

• Possess a minimum of high school qualification. Tertiary qualification is not a requirement but will be a big plus and a background in Montessori training will also be an advantage though training will be given.
• Background in Education will be highly considered.
• Have the enthusiasm to work with kids aged 18 months to 6-year-olds.
• Have good communication skills
