1. General manager
Job Description
Enclave Power Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following position.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Job Function:
Manage effectively and efficiently the construction, maintenance and operation of electricity distribution system in order to provide safe, reliable, cost competitive services to EPC’s target customers and earn optimum returns on shareholders capital.
- Provide planning, direction and control of the performance of Enclave Power as an electricity energy distributor
- Provide operation and maintenance schedules for EPC’s electrical distribution systems and its associated structures
- Maintain a technical capability for the operation, maintenance, design and construction of all components of the electricity distribution system and its associated structures
- Advise on appropriate technology to be used in the maintenance of plant, equipment and other service materials on schedule
- Maintain a health working environment and provide employees the opportunity to develop their capability to the maximum
- Interact as and when necessary with key stakeholders of the organization i.e. wholesalers, suppliers, Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) and other participants in the Wholesale Electricity market in Ghana for the purposes of negotiating and securing terms that offer maximum benefits to EPC
- Apprise the Board of EPC on the progress of plans and programmes that have been identified for implementation in line with EPC’s strategic plan
- Ensure the delivery of efficient and friendly customer service and satisfaction
- Ensure the maximization of energy sold and the minimization of energy losses
- Establish and implement sound organizational practices and value systems for EPC
- Ensure the financial viability of EPC
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the chief Operating Officer from time to time
2. Manager, Customer Services
Job Description
Enclave Power Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following position.
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function:
Provide overall Leadership, Coordination, Guidance and Supervision of the operation of the Customer Services Division in order to ensure total customer satisfaction for the clients of Enclave Power.
- Ensure efficient Customer Service delivery to generate customer satisfaction and a positive image for Enclave Power
- Identify and deploy modern facilities and systems necessary for the upgrade of operation to meet modern standards
- Monitor and report on operations of the division for the information of Management in line with agreed formats and timescale
- Establish and implement procedures for internal consultation to ensure that information is transmitted and feedback obtained on activities and problem encountered in the course of duty
- Manage power purchase issues and ensure that they are covered by the appropriate agreement
- Manage and control the Division expenditure to ensure that it remains within budgetary limits
- Ensure effective energy marketing and sales and customer relations management
- Implement effective system for the production and timely delivery of bills to customers
- Evolve systems to ensure that commercial losses or revenue leakages are either avoided or reduced to the barest minimum
- Ensure that all Customers and Sale points are properly metered
- Ensure that Customer complaints are promptly addressed in a satisfactory and efficient manner
- Assist with the design and development of an efficient billing system for Enclave Power Customers
- Implement effective strategies for the collection of bills
- Investigate and respond to queries from stakeholder’s e.g. PURC relating to Customer Service delivery
- Implement an effective revenue protection system for Enclave power
3. Manager, Engineering & Operation
Job Description
Enclave Power Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following position.
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function:
Provide leadership, Coordinating and Guidance in Network planning designs, electrical and construction works activities by establishing developing the best method for engineering and operation functions.
- Develop and implement a business plan for the effective management of the Engineering and Operation division in Enclave Power
- Establish and maintain appropriate system and processes for ensuring effective and efficient management of the Engineering and Operation division in Enclave Power
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary best practices and methods in engineering technology and provide appropriate training for staff of the division
- Provide planning, designs and construction of modifications and addition to Enclave Power electrical system and its associated structures
- Maintain a technical capability for the operation, design and construction of all the components of the electrical system and its associated structures
- Monitor and assess the performance and achievement of the objectives of the Engineering and Operation Division
- Represent Enclave Power in Engineering matters as delegated by the General Manager in matters pertain to Enclave Power
- Assist in ensuring the implementation of safety, Health and Environmental practices, rules and regulations
- Assist in ensuring functionality of all supervisory and distribution Management System Enclave Power’s Network
- Manage and control the Division’s expenditure to ensure that it remains within agreed budgets
- Maintain and report on plans and programmes of the Division to Management within agreed formats and time scales
- Assist in ensuring high staff morale and industrial peace and harmony
- Review the performance of subordinate staff periodically
- Carry out any other assignment within the scope and intent of the job

Required Skills or Experience
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Second Degree in Power Systems, Economics, Finance or Management is desirable
- Membership of recognized professional body
- 5 years’ post-qualification experience in power distribution in a management position
- Proficient in ICT, Economics/Financial Analysis, Management and Project Management
4. Manager, Protection and Maintenance
Job Description
Enclave Power Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following position.
Reports to: General Manager
Job Function:
Provide engineering and technical support so as to ensure reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of electrical distribution Network in the Enclave Power System as well as safety and protection standards for all the components of the system.
- Establish technical standards for the operation and maintenance of the components of Enclave Power’s electrical Network
- Monitor and inspect the operating and maintenance System of Enclave Power’s electrical Network
- Provide safety standards, coordinate and monitor all safety activities in Enclave Power
- Provide administrative control and direction for all security service of enclave power
- Ensure that the distribution systems are properly maintained to extend the economic lifespan of the system equipment and reduce system downtime
- Keep adequate operation data on all networks for short-term planning and security assessment of networks
- Assist to set and review Operation Procedures for primary and secondary substations, equipment and distribution lines
- Appraise the performance of immediate assistants
- Carry out power system simulation studies and ensure the implementation of appropriate protection relay settings
- Oversee protection and maintenance activities
- Liaise with the engineering division of Enclave Power to ensure the implementation of protection policy in the design and rehabilitation of the Network
- Ensure the provision and maintenance of appropriate tools, equipment and measuring instruments
- Coordinate the training of all the protection and control staff
- Undertake any other assignment that falls within the scope and intent of the job as may be assigned by Management from time to time
Required Skills or Experience
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- MBA is desirable
- 8 years relevant post qualification experience, five of which should be in a management position
- Must be Computer Literate in Office Application and Project Management Software
- Must be creative and self motivated
