• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience is essential
• Petroleum experience will be advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of the oil industry supply chain practices
• In-depth knowledge of accounting transactions & related systems
• Understand economic trends
• Basic knowledge of business system (ACCPAC/SAP)
• Understanding applicable corporate governance trends
• Intimate knowledge of applicable legislation, existing contracts and inter-oil company practices
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management
• Understanding of fundamental business finance
• Understanding of Municipal by-laws and national legislation
• Knowledge of Labour law
• Knowledge of Environmental and Safety legislation
• Financial system skills
• Planning & economics
• Project Management
• Building and maintaining good customer relationships
• Disciplinary and grievance handling
• Good verbal, written, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
