The primary purpose is to take full responsibility for the generation of all types of performance reports and daily/weekly/monthly operational reports within the scope of work delegated by work area responsible

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Measure the network performance and KPIs.
  • Generation of Performance reports on routine basis.
  • Generation of operational reports on routine basis.
  • Recognizing the improvement areas for operational performance development.
  • Identifying the root cause for network performance degradation.
  • Recognizing the area of exclusions for network performance degradation.
  • Raising trouble ticket to concerned department for the identified problems which leads/ may lead to performance degradation.
  • Preparing the monthly performance dash-board and sharing with FMD manager for the distribution.

 

Required Skills or Experience

  • University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years experience in telecoms, particularly in a performance reporting, performance tools support
  • Programming and software development knowledge is an advantage

2. Field Engineer-00040242

JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of MS field technician role is to perform the following field activities: corrective and preventive maintenance, planned work as well as provisioning of Multi-Customer, Multi Technology networks 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • The Field Technician is working with Service/Resource layer activities associated to Infrastructure and Readiness-Fulfillment and Assurance.
  • The Field Technician must provide 1st level resolution during site disturbances and required corrective activities.
  • The Field Technician is responsible for the On-site Field Operations activities of the services(s) and/or resource elements in the Network, within his/her Functional Skill(s).
  • The Field Technicians shall be aware of contractual SLA requirements on a customer by customer basis; Achieve correct level of first time resolution of work within contract SLA and be committed to strive and complete all work assigned within SLA timescales and to adhere to established procedures and quality standards.
  • The Field Technicians shall participate in a 24 x 7 x 365 callout Rota, and they have to work out of hours/out of area to support reactive and planned work requests.
  • Field Technicians works under guidance of MS Engineer and/or MS Technicians and follows pre-prepared Work Instructions, Procedures and/or routines and also demonstrate proactive self-development in order to ensure ability to work across multiple customer networks and equipment.
  • Field Technician replaces faulty assets in the network equipments, fills in the trouble reports and sends the faulty spares to the repair centers.

 

Required Skills or Experience

  • Technical Diploma or University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
  • At least 2-5 years experience in telecoms, particularly in a field operations and maintenance

3. Optimization Engineer-00040238

To secure clear responsibility for the network optimization and capacity control areas of the Customer network / from a multi  domain perspective (RAN (2G&3G), CORE, TRX,IN), according to contractual requirements and Ericsson strategy

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Parameters tuning & performance monitoring BSC & Cell level for new and existing sites
  • Troubleshooting for problematic sites & handling customer complaints
  • Provide management with optimization reports of Radio/Core/Transmission/IN VAS Network performance and / or other performance reports applicable to the  service delivery on a scheduled basis per vendor area
  • Define Network routines, schedules and reporting based on goals and priorities defined
  • Planning & Coordination of work for Network based on main goals and priorities defined by operations management
  • Responsible for Dimensioning and Capacity Management together with D&P team
  • Responsible for network capacity monitoring  (based on traffic FC, network build-out etc)
  • Support and execute on network tuning and optimization Guidelines

4. Service Desk Engineer-00040223

JOB PURPOSE
To act as first level support, preparation and consolidation of all changes performed in Service Management area, ensuring the fault management process & methods are adhered to by performing a technical impact analysis of every incident & escalating to relevant work groups

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • FO Service Desk Technician is responsible for handling from reception until closure of the Trouble Tickets and Service Requests from Customer and assure the time restoration within SLA
  • Correctly assign incidents to the right group, following processes and procedures
  • Follow-up on incidents registered but not solved, escalated, referred or cleared but not closed
  • Creates TT in the system based on emails or telephones received
  • Working with the application for trouble ticket management
  • Produces documentation and solves defined problems, log and solve standard problems, interacts with other FO Engineers or Technicians, customer technical staff and other groups within Service Delivery organization
  • Registration and transfer of non technical issues to Delivery Manager: the FO Service Desk Technician shall also forward questions or requests for quotations regarding not contracted services to the Ericsson Delivery Management (EDM)
  • Provide phone communication and written communication skills at a standard level and fluent in English & French

6. Planning and Design Engineer-00040237

JOB PURPOSE
To perform infrastructure design, product lifecycle & capacity control of the Customer network / solution from a Core/RAN (2G&3G)/TRX/IN planning and engineering perspective, according to contractual requirements and Ericsson strategy, ensuring the cost-effectiveness and technical performance of the complete solution.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for all planning, design and engineering activities to be performed according to the service contracts for the specific customer.
  • Responsible for translating the contractual technical requirements to the SIP delivery units (NRO, CSI, PDC) and for validating all activities performed by those units under the scope of the contract.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end technical solutions to meet contractual requirements and Ericsson strategy, including infrastructure and product design.
  • Responsible for the short and long term network evolution plan, analyzing the impacts of network growth and new functionalities introduction, and CAPEX planning.

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the 2nd level backend support and onsite project integration of all CORE, ACCESS, IN, VAS, OSS and other 3PP platforms to ensure continuous availability of network elements & services

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Preventive, corrective maintenance &  2nd  line intervention
  • Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc…)
  • Problem Escalations and Follow-ups ( CSR)
  • Performance Analysis & Investigation
  • Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Competence domains
  • Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.

Job Description

PURPOSE
Provide onsite 1st line intervention to CORE MSC/BSC, BACKBONE and switch site facilities including supervision & monitoring for UPS & Hybrid power systems. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Data Transcript (SS/BSS) handling & troubleshooting
  • Core AXE/MSS/MGW/ TRX fault escalation & performance analysis & investigation
  • SW rollout support & SW Level Consistency checks
  • Outage reporting, IREG and adherence to 1st and 2nd level switch support processes
  • Monitor schedules for maintenance of MSC sites and data center DC Rectifier, UPS, stabilizer and Inverter power systems, checks on performance of all nodes, supervise clean power systems and recommend proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and avoid failures.
  • Provide design and support; suggest changes to specification and standards to vendors on preventive and corrective maintenance programs

9. Switch Site Technician (Power)-00040241

Job Description

The purpose of switch power technician role is to perform the following supervision roles in switch site activities: generator monitoring and inspection, ISM supervision and escalations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Man power rooms in the switch sites, operate the generators carry out changeover of power sources and carry out periodic inspections on the generators and electrical panels.
  • Receive and record diesel supply to the switch sites
  • Supervise maintenance of generators and all other power devices on sites
  • Carry out direct supervision of all contractors working on power equipments during and after working hours
  • Carry out and record parameters on all power equipments (every 2 hours) – UPS/Inverters, HVAC, DC Plant etc.
  • Escalate any issue on power equipment to support engineers.
