Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Finance Manager (Ghana)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for weekly cash flow projections for the local entities (Esoko Ghana, Busylab & OMF)
• Perform Book keeping and enter all financial transaction into SAP account software
• Maintain accounting records in a logical and profession fashion
• Administer payroll and ensure deductions of all statutory taxes
• Prepare the filing of all monthly, quarterly & annual returns with appropriate governments agencies
• Responsible for preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for the preparation, dispatching and follow up of clients’ invoices
• Prepare monthly income statement, statement of financial position and cash flow statement
• Maintain accurate asset register
• Ensure accurate booking of all payables invoices and payment of same

Required Skills or Experience

• Degree in accounting or Bachelors in commerce or Bachelors in administration
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICA)
• 3-5 years experience in similar role
• Experience in using SAP accounting software
• Experience user of MS Office suite
