Finance Business Partner- Supply Chain: Plato Consult

The Supply Chain Business Partner shall be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of financial and management procedures within the supply chain department. He/she will liaise with all departments within the Supply chain function on finance matters. The position reports to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis who reports to the FD.

Key responsibilities include;
Ensure that stock takes are properly organized and by the prescribed deadlines.
Support procurement department throughout the process of negotiating new contracts and the tendering process
Liaise with logistics and other departments to update actual prices for commodities into commodity cost tracker
Support cost centre managers to develop planned budgets for the year
Ensure budgetary control as against fixed assets and other categories.
Produce quarterly cost analysis reports
Support cost centre managers to deliver realistic planned forecasts for the remainder of the year
Ensure that each expenditure is only authorized by the authorized departments and is within the approved budget
Monitor actual expenditure versus budget

Required Skills or Experience

5 years relevant work experience in similar role
University graduate in Accounting with ICA or ACCA
Detailed and thorough approach to analytical problems
Possession of strong interpersonal skills
Post graduation experiences – 2years minimum ICA/ACCA
IT literacy is a precondition
