Job Description
The Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), the local Chapter of Transparency International (TI) is seeking a suitably qualified person for appointment to the position of Finance Officer.
The Finance Officer shall report to the Finance and Administration Manager and his/her duties will include:
- Preparation of vouchers and data recording of the financial transactions of through the general ledger
- Ensuring the integrity of financial information
- Preparation of bank reconciliation statements
- Maintenance of cash forecasts & budgets
- Regular and prompt delivery of quarterly and annual financial reports
- Preparation of management accounts
- Grants administration and reporting to donors
Required Skills or Experience
The qualified applicant must:
- Possess a degree in accounting with two years relevant experience OR HND in accounting with three years relevant experience
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Have knowledge of computerised accounting
