Financial institution Jobs in Ghana: Asset / Fund Manager

A reputable non-bank financial institution is looking for a highly qualified person to lead its Asset/Fund Management team in the position of Fund & Investment Manager

The Role:

Responsible for the management of client’s investment funds
Develop a strong team of professional analysts and research officer
Ensure effectiveness of IT application for client service in terms of timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting
Grow the pension and provident fund book of the Company in the context of the Pension Fund Act
Deliver superior returns on client’ funds within the risk parameters set by the Board
Ensure full compliance with regulatory directives

Required Skills or Experience

A minimum of a Master’s Degree preferably in finance, economics, banking or qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, ACMA)
At least five years experience as head in any of the following areas of financial services: product/service development, asset/portfolio management, research, investment management, financial analyses or financial planning
Highly computer literate with capacity to use portfolio analyses and risk-analysis software/develop appropriate models to fit market requirements
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical ability
