Job Description

Job Title: Finance Manager

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop, design and implement financial and accounting policies and practices to ensure proper accounting records for cost-effective operations by the Units.
• Adopt best standards and practices as well as top-of the book rules for investment and treasury management to optimize returns on investment to grow the value of investible assets on sustainable basis
• Put in place proper cash flow management practices and develop appropriate templates to guide operations and subsequent asset allocations
• Track and evaluate investment and treasury strategies and performance to sustain profitability and health
• Develop long-term financial planning, with adequate provision for monitoring, evaluation and roll-over facilities, to guide attainment of operational excellence
• Develop and implement yearly and term budgets with targets and benchmarks for attainment including cost allocation to allow for profitable and equitable evaluation of performance of units of the company

Qualification Required & Experience

• MBA in Finance
• Qualified member of a recognized professional body (CA,CIMA,ACCA)
• At least 10 years of finance and accounting experience, at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Ability to apply Project Management principles (PMP will be an advantage)
• High proficiency in the use of accounting systems and advance MS suit user
