Our heritage in Central and West Africa dates back to 1957 when Nestlé began trading and distributing its products in Ghana. Today, Nestlé owns and operates seven factories that cater to the region and provides direct employment to more than 6,700 people. We also provide indirect employment to over hundred thousand people.
The Nestlé Central and West Africa entity, which was formed in 2005, oversees our operations in 22 countries in the region from Mauritania to Central African Republic. Our headquarters is based in Accra, Ghana.
