General Manager, Real Estate & Construction: Sino Africa Development

The position holder would be responsible for:

Developing and implementing company’s strategic business plan, marketing & sales strategies
Managing the existing real estate and construction business and identifying new real estate and construction ventures
Managing, supervising, and coordinating projects of contractors
Calculating and comparing costs of real estate and construction products to achieve maximum value for money
Planning for future real estate development in line with the company’s strategic business objectives
Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption of business activities
Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new and old estate buildings
Coordinating and leading more project teams to cover various areas of real estate and construction activities

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidates must:

Have a minimum of 1st degree in building technology or related field, an MBA or professional qualification in marketing would be an added advantage
Have 7 years relevant work experience in the building and construction industry of which 3 years must be in a managerial position
Have working experience in a reputable multinational or local construction and real estate company
Have strong project management and development skills
Posses the ability to influence and negotiate for contracts as well as market the company’s real estate products
Have strong people management skills
Be hardworking and firm with a strong sense of discipline
Have impeccable presentation, spoken and written communication skills
Be proficient in the Microsoft office suite
