Job Description

Job Title: Head, Distributor Sales

The position is middle management one and the successful candidate will report directly to the Commercial Director. The candidate will ensure cement sales are made through the distributor segment across Ghana. The sales must fit into Ghacem’s distribution policy and seek to enhance the company’s brand and increase market share. The eligibel candidate will lead the sales team to execute Ghacem’s distribution strategy, manage sales depots and provide training for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop a sales strategy in line with organizational revenue and sales goals
•   Provide feedback, support, training and coaching to the sales team as well as develop them and assign or re-assign sales territories
•   Manage sales depots to realize sales objectives
•   Identify sales projects, develop sales leads and deliver the company’s brand promise
•   Formulate, implement and review distributor/customer programs, emphasizing on quality service delivery and ensure customer satisfaction
•   Formulate, implement and review results of sales activities, customer support programs and sales campaign efforts
•   Ensure the company’s customer complain handling policy is strictly adhered to
•   Track, collate and interpret sales figures as well as forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
•   Ensure environmental, healthy and safety procedures within the Section are complied with

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master’s degree in sales, marketing or its equivalent
•   An affiliation to a professional body may be a plus
•   Cement application knowledge will be an advantage
•   Minimum of five (5) years practical work experience in industry, preferably in a FMCG
