Ghana Cocoa Board Jobs: Director, Special Services

Purpose:
To gather intelligence data on the industry, analyze and promptly alert the Chief Executive and advise Management on all security matters.

1. Develops procedures for data collection, analysis, storage, retrieval and dissemination of intelligence information to key stakeholders in a timely manner
2. Monitors and anticipate changes in the business environment to promote and implement appropriate strategic responses
3. Prepares briefing materials on intelligence information in the cocoa industry for Chief Executive
4. Provides expert advice on strategies to minimize losses through unapproved marketing channels
5. Ensures proper surveillance of movement and sale of COCOBOD’s produce
6. Investigates alleged malpractices with the service provided for farmers by stakeholders and develop strategies for the elimination of same
7. Initiates and develops policies and procedures for the protection and security of COCOBOD assets
8. Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive

1. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and preparation of reports
2. Excellent organizational skills
3. Have ability to make effective decisions and follow up
4. Ability to direct, motivate, co-ordinate and control activities of others
5. Computer literate

Minimum Qualification:

• A first degree from a  recognized university and must have a specialized training in intelligence work
• A minimum of twelve (12) years post-qualification experience is required
