The Ghana National Commission on Small Arms is looking for suitably qualified, goal-oriented and results driven persons with exceptional qualities for appointment.
The Object of the position is to develop effective communication channel with the media and the general public on a continuous basis
Informs the general public through publications, seminars, fairs, exhibition, conference durbars and public fora on proliferation, local manufacture, trade and handling of small arms
Monitor public reactions and feedback on the activities and functions of the Commission
Provide protocol services to and on behalf of the Commission
Keeps accurate, timely and reliable information on media reports on small arms and update management thereon
Required Skills or Experience
A Post Graduate Certificate in Public Relations, Journalism, English language and or any relevant professional qualification
A minimum of four (4) years post qualification relevant work experience in a reputable institution
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good report writing skills
Excellent event management and organizational skills
