Job Title 1: Pan Ghana:- Fiber Planning Engineers Ref: FPE

Remuneration: Remuneration is competitive and as obtainable in Ghana Telecommunications industry

Qualification Required & Experience

Skills/Competencies Required

•   Experience on Fiber optic cable planning and core optimization
•   SDH and DWDM knowledge with awareness of MW Fiber core distribution at Hand hole level
•   Knowledge of fiber ODF termination
•   Strong Auto CAD knowledge

Responsibilities:

•   Optimizing the fiber optic cores and documentation (Auto CAD Documentation)
•   Survey of the customer location and understanding the customer connectivity requirements
•   Liaison with TAC transmission team to generate designs based on the site survey and TAC input.
•   Costing report and Submission of the quote for customers
•   Allotment and designing of the fiber network from time to time in line with business needs

Skills/Competencies Required

•   Competencies in optic Fibre layout and frame distributions (E1, STM 4, STM 16, n X STM N)
•   Knowledge of DWDM, SDH technology, etc
•   Knowledge in Add and drop multiplexers
•   Knowledge of Optical/Electrical interfaces
•   Ability to plan and distribute circuits to various network nodes
•   Competence in generating work orders and timeslot chat for TAC implementation
•   Other close areas like microwave technology and antenna propagation required

Responsibilities

•   Ensure that the integrity of the network is planned, build, audited and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner
•   Build and test the circult as specified by the sales team adhering to stringent SLA based timelines
•   End to End planning provisioning testing and handover of circuit for customers and capturing of entire details of processes involved in service delivery
