CA Global Africa Recruitment is currently looking for a Group HR Manager (Ghana), for an International Bank in Africa.

Key purpose of the role:
Responsible for translating the business strategy into prioritised HR actions and interventions to appropriate time, cost and quality standards that support delivery of the strategy.
Lead business leadership teams, through the interpretation and execution of the Group’s people agenda
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Define and develop governing objectives and policies which are aligned to Group
Generate, evaluate and make recommendations on the Bank’s Strategy.
Establish parameters for Risk profile and policies
Generate HR Strategies which support the strategic requirements of the Bank and maximize the organization and people capability
Lead the business in the development, build and re-enforcement of a sustainable organization design, which supports the delivery of the business goals with maximum control, efficiency and effectiveness
Develop an Employee Relations strategy to deliver HR proposition through employee consultation, information events, internal communications vehicles, interpretation of employee insight data, employment policies and involvement of recognized Trade Unions
Business Performance:
Identify, approve and manage the high value at stake strategies of the Bank
Take major operating and investment decisions including:
Overall Budget approval
Deliver improved governance risk management, controls and compliance
Sponsor and review HR projects, services and policies ensuring that they are delivered to the Business to time, cost and quality standards
Defining support requirements and HR Plans for input to the Centres of Excellence
Set business requirements and review policies delivered by Centres of Excellence to ensure fit for business purpose
Develop and implement the Bank’s specific HR interventions which are explicitly congruent with Group HR policies and standards
Leadership:
The Candidate must be CIPD qualified or have a similar post graduate qualification and evidence of continued professional development, full range of distinctive capabilities and at least 70% of technical capabilities (listed below) preferred. Top Grading experience, Recruitment, E&D, D&G accredited, and experience in high performance organization or world class HR consultancy
