CA Global: Africa Positions has a client that is in need of a Group IT Manager. The position is based in Ghana.

 

• Overseeing the designing and development of  Group Information Systems and networks
• Manage all IT resources in use by the various companies within the  Group
• Plan and Coordinate all IT-related projects
• Develop and implement an IT strategy for the Group
• Develop IT policies, procedures and practices manual for the Group.
• Applications Development

 

Requirements:

Education  : Higher degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or related field

Experience  : Minimum of 3years in similar position

Soft Skills: Experience in Java programming technologies

Working with Databases like Mysql and Postgre Sql

IT application and Network Management

Experience with LANs and WLAN network technologies

Systems Security  Administration

Strong Systems, Network and Application design background

Experience with all aspects of software development lifecycle

Project Management

Linux Applications and development environment

Must have excellent communication and analytical skills, and an ability to think out-of-the-box

Able to speak and write English fluently

Able to travel on short notice and available for IT related emergencies
