Job Description

Business Development/Admin Officer – Accra, Ghana

Our client, a start-up ICT firm, is currently seeking a Business Development/Admin Officer to join its team. The incumbent would be mainly responsible for office management, key account management and customer service. This position is based in Accra, Ghana.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day to day running of the office
  • Provide administrative support to key members of the team
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients (corporate and personal) and be intimately familiar with specific requirements of key clients.
  • Respond to relevant face to face, phone, email and written enquiries/concerns regarding the firm’s client services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attain a thorough knowledge of all organization’s services and keep abreast of any changes that may occur.
  • Attend and represent the organization at conferences and meetings to promote its services and overall business, and to be informed of new developments in the health sector.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the area of Business Development or Customer Service
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate sensitive situations internally and externally
  • Dynamic personality
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different work groups
  • Understanding of basic business terms
  • Ability to propose viable solutions to problems
  • Strong presentation skills at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and produce appropriate results with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to deliver high performance and results
