Job Description

Our client, a corporate finance and private equity firm, has an opening for a “Junior Financial Analyst.” This role offers the incumbent the opportunity to work closely with senior company executives on a variety of projects, including corporate advisory, corporate finance and private equity investments.

The role requires a wide range of responsibilities and skills that are focused on financial analysis and business writing. This position is based in Accra, Ghana.

• Assisting the designated deal team leader in financial analysis and monitoring of portfolio companies.
• Performing due diligence on projects. Assisting in the review of business proposals and preparation of proposals and management reports.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, or other similar function.
• Prior experience in a Big Four, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Private Equity institution is a distinct advantage.
• Must be able to think on one’s feet and perform in a highly time sensitive, team environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
