We maintain high standards and provide a wide range of support to all manner of shipping activities in the region, from oil tankers loading in offshore Nigeria to sophisticated and modern liner vessels operating under gantry in Durban.

Our business is very dynamic, and due to expansion there are exciting opportunities to enter the expatriate environment, and to grow with the business. Candidates must be English speakers.

Job Responsibility:

You will have responsibility for overseeing the day to day activities of a ship agency division, reporting to the Managing Director. This will incorporate profit centre management, management of staff, and liaison with our overseas principals.

Some background in shipping or forwarding is a must, preferably liner agency, and experience of Africa, or another third world environment, is a distinct advantage.

This role will require good communication skills and the ability to manage people. Candidates must be extremely energetic, and be open to the challenges of working in a demanding environment.
