A Leading Research Organization in Ghana is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to consolidate and advance its flagship status in Ghana and the West African sub region. The candidate will be required to enhance the visibility of the organization via social media and the internet.

Job Title 1: IT Specialist

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

•   A degree in Computer Science or other related discipline
•   A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in information technology
•   Extensive knowledge in designing and developing websites, graphics and integrative multimedia
•   The ability to upload, troubleshoot and manage information on websites
•   A solid understanding of Graphical User Interface
•   Competency and hands on experience in managing servers in Microsoft Windows Domain
•   Ability to investigate and solve computer software problems
•   Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs
•   The ability to troubleshoot and solve network connectivity and performance issues

•   Sound knowledge of statistical and econometric techniques and experience in their applications,
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to raise the profile of the organization and build networks.
•   Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated track record of team work.
•   Strong client orientation, willingness to work with wide range of government, civil society actors, and donor counterparts.
•   Provide intellectual leadership, direct quality and lead research.
•   Coach, mentor and advise staff.
