Internal Auditor Job Vacancy

Duties:

• Ensure the establishment and operation of an efficient and effective financial control system
• Vet all proposed expenditure to ensure compliance with laid-down internal and control systems and other statutory requirements
• Conduct periodic examination of the accounts of the University College
• Monitor and ensure that all expenditures incurred have been authorized and are within budgetary provisions
• Conduct periodic management audit and submit reports to the Principal
• Liaise with External Auditors and ensure that appropriate action is taken on reported audit findings
• Submit periodic audit reports on the activities of Departments/Units to the Principal
• Verify procurements to ensure that they conform to laid-down procedures

Location: Near Wesley Grammar Senior High School, Dansoman – Accra
 

Required Skills or Experience

Candidate must:

• Possess a good first degree in Accounting PLUS CIMA/CA/ACCA or equivalent
• Have at least five (5) years post qualification experience as a Deputy Internal Auditor or equivalent in a tertiary institution or a related organization
