Job Title: Qualitative Research Manager in Ghana
The Research Manager (RM) is responsible to the Senior Research Manager (SRM) for assisting with the management and leadership of the research team in terms of development, efficiency, staff continuity, capacity and research.
This function takes on a staff management role, a project execution and coordination role as well as a technical role.
The management role includes assisting the head of the division (SRM) in terms of the building and managing of a team of research professionals and the direct hands on management of all aspects of research projects.
The RM will ensure profitability of all projects at proposal and work stage and may be responsible for meeting the division revenue targets in the absence of the head of the division.
The RM will also have responsibility for project management on their own projects.
Essential Responsibilities And Deliverable
Business Development And Financial Management (30%)
Developing the research business amongst existing clients and identification and development of new business opportunities outside the existing client base
People Management (30%)
Maximise individual and team performance and efficiency through effective people management;
Leads performance management process, as and when required
Client & Account Management (20%)
Apply expert level of knowledge in understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions with them.
Apply expert knowledge to make sure deliverables and analysis conducted reflect their commercial implications and realities.
Insights Generation (20%)
Designs appropriate research solutions to drive meaningful insight for clients’ needs and their business
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
Bachelors degree in marketing or any relevant qualification
At least 5 years’ experience in quantitative research at executive level
Proven ability to effectively communicate insights to all levels of the business in a practical, user friendly and meaningful way
Ability to turn data into actionable intelligence / insights
Strong research relationships and networks
Exceptional Client Relationship Management skills
