Credit Control Officer
Objective of Position:
To develop and maintain an effective credit control system for the company
Key Tasks:
- To manage the outstanding sales/servicing balances falling due and contact customers before overdue to confirm payments
- Set and monitor credit limits and undertake measures to ensure outstanding debts are brought to a satisfactory level
- Develop or Review the company credit control procedure and assess the credit worthiness of all potential customers before sales are made
- To develop strategies for collecting debt from all District Assemblies and MMDAs
- To review all sales agreements of the company including resolutions with government agencies
- To set monthly debt collection targets and prepare reports on payment balances for management decision making
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management or its representative from time to time
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum of HND Accounting with a professional qualification (ICA or ACCA)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Credit Control Officer
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
Marketing Officer
Objective of Position:
To market the products and services of the company
Key Tasks:
The Key tasks of the incumbent are but not limited to the following:
- To manage and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Conduct Market Research to determine the needs of customers
- Support the overall marketing objectives of the company both internally and externally
- Supply sufficient information to the Marketing Supervisor to enable effective budgetary control of specific areas of activity
- Develop and maintain a computerized customer and prospect database
- Carry out competitor surveys to help in developing new marketing strategies
- Increase the market share of the company by undertaking activities to maintain customers and win new customers
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned by management from time to time
Required Skills or Experience
- 1st Degree in Marketing/Social Sciences with minimum of 3 years experience in an automobile company or
- HND in Marketing with minimum of 4 years experience in an automobile company
- Must be a good communicator both written and oral
- Must have good knowledge in Microsoft office suite
- Must be a team player
Objective of Position:
To keep all equipments in the department in the utmost operational state, assess contract sites and assist the Manager in other duties
Key Tasks:
- Ensure the effective management of the fleet equipments in the department
- Conduct project site assessment and advice your supervisor on the nature of terrain and the possible effects on equipments before equipments are releases on contracts
- Provide technical advice to clients on the use of equipments and the most suitable equipments for their contracts
- Monitor and control spare parts consumption
- Visit long term project sites to inspect the performance of the equipments
- Prepare maintenance schedule for all the equipments in consultation with the Workshop Managers
- Ensure the safety of all operators by providing first aid boxes on the equipments, providing them with the Personal Protective Clothing among others
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor from time to time
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering with 4yrs experience in Supervisory role
- 1st Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3yrs experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in equipment leasing is an added advantage
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision
