Job Opportunities in Ghana 2012: Economic & Trade Attache

The Economic and Trade Attache shall be responsible for developing trade relations with important economic figures and analyzing economic trends and conditions in the country. The role reports to the Deputy Ambassador

Role Specific Requirements:

• Develops trade relationships with relevant economic figures
• Analyzes and reports current market trends both locally and internationally
• Develops economic projects, exhibitions and fairs
• Liaises directly with the media
• Liaises with governments and contacts in international, regional and non-governmental organizations
• Provides support to workshops, conferences and seminars

Required Skills or Experience

Minimum Qualification:

• A degree in Economics/ Business Management/ International Relations or other relevant fields
• A minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar position
• Strong network with economic & trade establishments in Ghana in both the private and public sectors
• Must be proficient in MS office suite
• Experience working in an Internet environment
