India opened a representative office in Accra in 1953 even prior to Ghana’s independence and established full-fledged diplomatic relations with Ghana in 1957 immediately after its independence.

At present, the High Commission has total strength of 31 personnel -15 India-based and 16 local staff. The High Commission also looks after India’s relations with three other countries under its concurrent charge. These are Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone and Togo.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree, conversant in English (spoken & written), knowledge of computers, English typing and data entry

Experience

• At least one year in a similar capacity in a reputed organization
