Job Description

Job Summary:

  • To manage, direct and lead the financial activities of the following Sections/Departments: Treasury, (including Banking and Accounts Payable), General Accounting (including Taxation and Quality Assurance (Business Process) and Revenue Assurance.
  • To manage, direct and lead the financial activities of Revenue Management, Revenue Assurance, Expenditure Management, Organisation Methods, Fixed Assets Management and all other line financial business support functions within company Ghana.
  • Ensure that the financial operations activities meet world class benchmarks

Job Role

  • Providing other business Divisions and Management with financial information support to meet their business objectives
  • Interface with local and international financial institutions, consultants and regulatory bodies
  • Initiate and manage projects to improve business efficiencies, reduce inputs and automate processes
  • Oversee processes to minimise revenue leakage in the company
  • Responsibility for overseeing:
  • Taxation Management
  • Interconnect
  • Financial Accounting
  • Financial Reporting
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Inventory Accounting
  • Business Processes (Quality Assurance)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Effective and Efficient management of the Treasury Section (Accounts Payable and Banking)
  • Responsible for Cash Management including the control and care of the cash assets and liabilities of the organisation and comply with cash and investment policies and procedures.
  • Conduct  Financial Reporting in a timely manner
  • Carry out Risk analysis  periodically

Required Skills or Experience


Educational Requirements:
Degree in Accounting plus professional Accounting qualification – Preferably Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10 years relevant working experience of which 5 years must be in a managerial capacity within the Telecommunications or high technology environment.
