The hotel also features restaurants and bars, fully-equipped function rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and Spa. Currently in the soft opening stage, the Grand opening will be in the last quarter of 2016.

You will be the head of the Sales and Marketing Department and responsible for identifying Ghana’s hospitality market’s needs, tailoring products to suit those needs and driving the sales force towards achieving sales targets.

Job Title: Sales & Marketing

Main Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing who will be responsible for managing all the sales, marketing activities and events at Kempinski Gold Coast Accra, to achieve/exceed budget.

You will also be responsible for the planning and development of promotional strategies and management of the sales and marketing team and reporting on effectiveness of the plan. Responsibilities also require direct and routine interaction with Regional Sales and Marketing office along with key colleagues across MEA.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government departments and others closely allied to Hotel business.

To ensure that we catch the attention of our clients and also utilize the best talents in our business, you will manage the Sales & Marketing team, ensuring that we organize promotional activities on a regular basis. You will be in charge of monitoring competitor activities and assisting in marketing intelligence. You will also be developing and maintaining a regular pattern of sales calls & meeting with principals of target market.

As the primary contact for our key clients you will have a passion for meeting new people and will develop good relationship with them. Ideally you have to have at least three years’ experience in this field and a desire to progress your career within a global organization.

Qualifications And Exprerience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least two years’ experience in a similar role leading a Sales and Marketing team in a five star or luxury hotel
• Strategic thinker with affinity for numbers
• Experience in a newly opened property will be an added advantage
