1. Systems Administrator – ICT Directorate

Required Skills or Experience

Knowledge on Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, IIS, etc. For Win 2003 & 2008 servers
Experience of administering Linus systems
Good working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic
Computer hardware components
Proven and relevant working experience in a busy, client focused organisation
MCSE Certification is desirable
Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and
Repair of IT hardware and software
BSc. Compute Science/Computer Engineering or MCSE or CCNA
Minimum of two years (2) post qualification experience

2. Web Administrator – ICT Directorate

Must have hands on knowledge about Microsoft NET Technologies (ASP.net, VB.net or C+, HTML, Visual Studio, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, IIS, PERL and SQL Server)
Should have a very good scripting experience like PERL, shell, TCL or python
Should have very good knowledge and understanding of Collaboration Tools, Enterprise Portals, Enterprise Search, and Forms-based Business Process Document and Content Management
Must have knowledge of Web transaction software, payment-processing software, and security software
Repair of IT hardware and software
BSc. Computer Science/Computer Engineering
Minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience

Required Skills or Experience

Must have knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and MySQL
Must be fluent conversant with Database Management systems (DBMS) such MS Access, VB 6.0, VB.NET.
Must have knowledge about object oriented programming (OOP)
Knowledge of backup strategies
Knowledge of clusters and high availability technologies
Must have practical experience in designing relevant databases and in-house application
Bsc. Computer Science/Computer Engineering +MCDBA
Minimum of two (2) post qualification experience

3. Database Administrator – ICT Directorate

Must have knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and MySQL

4. Procurement Officer

Masters in Supply Chain Management (MSc) and a member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) UK with at least three (3) years post qualification experience in the public sector or analogous institution. OR
A member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) UK with at least five (5) years experience in a public sector or analogous institution

5. Helpdesk Assistant

Ability to troubleshoot ICT problems online
Ability to assess each users knowledge levels
Being good with difficult callers
An ability to think logically
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Up to date IT and helpdesk skills
An in-depth understanding of the software and equipment being used by users
Good interpersonal customer care skills
Good and accurate records keeping
Diploma in Computer Science
Minimum of two (2) post qualification experience

6. Head of Security

Duties will include:

Organise rounds of inspection on security personnel and locations under his supervision
Conduct periodic security audits of locations and facilities under his supervision
Submit routine reports on the locations and facilities under his supervision to management

Required Skills or Experience

Must be confirmed officers with not less than 4 years continuous and satisfactory service as Assistant Security Officer; and should have the basic qualification of 6 passes in the SSSCE/GCE ‘O’ level 5 credits Or
Must have attained at least the rank of Chief Inspector in the Police Service or at least any equivalent rank in the Security Services with not less than five years continuous and satisfactory service in that rank
