Job Description

IUCN is looking for an enthusiastic and talented candidate to fill the position of Regional Head of Human Resources (RHHR) located at Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, its Regional Office for West and Central Africa.

The Regional Head of Human Resources will be responsible for building a dedicated and motivated workforce in the region, and ensuring that global best practices in human resources management are implemented in support to IUCN’s programme in Central and West Africa.
The position reports directly to the Regional Director and functionally to the Head, Global Human Resources in the IUCN Headquarters in Switzerland
Expected Start date: June 1, 2011
Type of Contract: One year (renewable)
Location: Regional Office for West and Central Africa, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
