Job Description

The Lawra Area Rural Bank Limited, is one of the fast growing rural bank in the Upper West Region of Ghana which provides banking services to the general public within its catchment areas, seek to recruit suitable and qualified persons for the position of a Manager.

1. Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bank
2. Co-ordinate and control operational activities between head office and new branches yet to be opened
3. Ensure timely submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to ARB Apex bank and the Bank of Ghana
4. Control cost and ensures the bank operates within budget

Required Skills or Experience

1. Must have at least a first degree or professional qualification in any relevant discipline
2. Must have at least 10 years banking experience
3. Excellent management, entrepreneurial and administrative skills
4. High sense of responsibility result oriented working attitude
5. Must be able to implement all operational policies of banking services in addition to effective and efficient deposit mobilisation
6. Good interpersonal skills
7. Must be computer literate and familiar with Banking Software preferably T24
8. Must not be above 50 years of age
