Job Description

1. Job Title:  Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of the customer solution, which involves performing technical pre-sales and post-sales support activities in the delivery of the company’s products and services to its customers. The Technical Sales Engineer must also ensure the clients’ and the company’s needs are met by providing support on product, business and technical knowledge

Required Skills or Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Information Communication Technology/Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields
• Good understanding of telecommunications/engineering principles, transmission, access networks, IP networks etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Transmission technologies such as SDH, Microwave, Fibre transmission, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of IP and IP related technology and protocols such as BGP, MPLS, DNS etc.
• Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCIP/CCNP/CCDP certifications
• At least 5 years industry experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Solutions Architect role
• Strong background in solution design with focus on IP/MPLS/IPLC/VoIP/Metro Ethernet/Data Centre/Collocation/Cloud technologies
• Very good knowledge of Main One’s products and services.
• Experience in designing and deploying standardized VoIP technologies; SIP and H.323
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Presentation skills
• Time & self-management skills

  Job Description2. Job Title:  IP Engineer

  The IP Engineer will be responsible for designing, integrating and implementing IP based services on the Main One network.

  Required Skills or Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree  in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 2 – 3 years relevant work experience
  • Proven capacity in designing and implementing complex, high performance networks with multiple locations and applications, preferably service provider networks.
  • Hands on experience configuring Cisco and Juniper routers
  • CCNA and CCNP certifications would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of networking technologies – TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, proxy etc.
  • Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches
  • L2 and L3 MPLS experience
  • Routing protocol troubleshooting experience (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • IP multicast experience
  • Analytical Thinking
  • Good oral and written communication skills
