Manager/Senior Manager Job Vacancies in Ghana

International Development Consultancy Business Development Role. Our client is part of a large professional services firm with offices in over 150 countries. The firm has recently established a business unit specializing in devel opment advisory work, the West Africa hub of which is based in Accra. We are looking for a Manager/Senior Manager who would be largely responsible for business development in Ghana and selected countries in West Africa.
Main tasks/responsibilities:

1. Generate business in Ghana and elsewhere in West Africa
2. Proposal writing and preparing bids
3. Undertake fee-based work
4. Backstopping, monitoring and evaluation of activities
5. Build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders
6. Manage delivery of work in compliance with risk management and quality standards

Required Skills or Job Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to write excellent proposals and win bids
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong influencing and networking abilities
• Fluent English plus preferably a working knowledge of French
• Good first degree and preferably a Masters degree in Economies or related discipline from a top tier university
• No less than 7 years relevant postgraduate work experience
