Job Description

Duty Post: Goldfields MARC, Tarkwa/Damang

Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead component exchange R&l and commissioning forms are completed and returned on schedule for processing
Collate information regarding component change out schedules, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date
Manage transport of components between rebuild centres ensuring minimal delays are encountered on the MARC Sites
Develop a monthly report on transaction history, planned and unplanned, average component lives re-do etc
Ensures clear documentation is provided with every component delivered to the CRC’s for rebuild with detailed information on the components and expectations from the rebuild centre

Required Skills or Experience

Job Qualification:

A minimum of MVT 3/ HND in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
Experience and Skills:
Must have at least three years post qualification CAT/Earth Moving Heavy Equipment repairs and Maintenance/Administration experience
An experience in Catepillar Field Service would be considered an advantage
Must be prepared to work for long hours and weekends when the need arises
Must be prepared to work in noisy and dirty environments
Must be capable of working with little or no supervision
Must be prepared to work in a mining environment
Strong MS Office Background (Word and excel)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A Good Maintenance planning background
