Job Description

Job Title: Launch Manager

Key Responsibilities include:

•   Design, manage and implement marketing and sales strategies to support product penetration and distribution
•   Identify opportunities to build MSIG’s new social marketing brands and leverage the existing product portfolio for extension into new consumer and product segments and expansion across markets
•   Develop consumer led strategies, positioning, marketing mix and implementation plans for new products and services for adoption across markets and distribution channels
•   Work collaboratively with country programmes to complete market & consumer landscape assessments for new product launch
•   Review key trends and technology advancements in the SRH sector
•   Identify opportunities for corporate/business partnerships that will contribute to the organisation’s mission and goal
•   Any other duties which will ensure the smooth and effective running of MSI Ghana

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications
•   Other professional qualifications, ideally in Project Management, Communications and marketing desired

Skills and Experience

•   At least 7 years of relevant post-graduation work experience
•   Demonstrated understanding of product and service marketing
•   Experience in marketing to the youth and ability to build successful relationships
•   Experience of managing and working with brands
•   Experience of using marketing research and analysis techniques and tools to inform decision making
•   Experience of delivering integrated messages and campaigns across a variety of offline and online channels, including emerging technologies and social media
•   Experience of managing relationships with communications agencies and internal stakeholders
•   Knowledge of current communications methods and working with databases and CRM systems
•   Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to write high quality reports
•   Experience in working for and with international NGOs (or multinlateral or bilateral agencies such as the UN)
•   Must be pro-choice.
