Job Purpose / key Responsibilities Understand and be conversant with the Jubilee and TEN Terminal Manual’sBe the competent person who assists the Mooring Master in carrying out duties with each vessel to ensure compliance with the Jubilee, TEN Terminal Manuals and Marine Operations Manual throughout all operations.

Assists the Mooring Master for all offshore facilities including, coordination of the Tanker movements; Pilotage, berthing, hose connection, loading, documentation & un-berthing.

Assists the Mooring Master in keeping records of mooring equipment in use during export operations to include: time in use of equipment, average weather exerted on the equipment and general condition including the management of mooring change out requirements

Assists the Mooring Master in maintaining records of cargo hose inspections prior to use and maintain records of cargo volumes and time in operation to build up hose data, including the management of hose change out.

Provide practical marine guidance to the Jubilee and TEN Terminal Team, for all marine activities within the field.

In the absence of the Mooring Master, working with the Marine / Services Superintendent to ensure cargo quantity and quality are in specification for Offtake operations

Job Purpose / key Responsibilities

Person Specification

Education: A Tanker Chief Officer with minimum Unlimited STCW COC, Master less than 1600 GRT that has experience in the loading, discharging of Oil or related cargoes.Is able to demonstrate the correct skill set to be able to complete TGL Training requirements for Assistant Mooring Master and Mooring Master Competency Standards through training.  Possession of GMDSS and Dangerous Cargo Endorsempracticeanker Safety ( Oil )

A Ghanaian Senior Pilot from the ports of Takoradi and or Tema with minimum STCW, COC Master Unlimited less than 500 GRT who can demonstrably show strong ship handling skills that have undertaken the berthing of vessels of greater than 200m both alongside quays and docks and also STS operations.  Has the ability to handle tugs in berthing situations.

Is able to demonstrate the correct skill set to be able to satisfactorily complete TGL requirements for Assistant Mooring Master and Mooring Master Competency Standards through training.  Possession of GMDSS and Dangerous cargo Endorsement or Tanker Safety ( Oil )

Class Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision Fluent English Speaker.Computer literacy with particular reference to word and Excel.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
