Tigo Cash is Tigo’s Mobile Money product, launched commercially in Ghana in October 2011. Tigo Cash is seeking for a Product Manager to lead all product development related activities such as Marketing, Consumer Research, Market Research, Promotions Development, and Product Revenue forecasting. The Tigo Cash Product Manager will report directly to the Head of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) and will be a member of the Mobile Financial Services Business Unit at Millicom Ghana

Managing Planning and Roll Out of Product Enhancements and New Products:
1.Understand and document commercial priorities for enhancements and new products
2.Devise a product roadmap according to commercial priorities in Tigo Ghana and other Tigo operations
3.Be responsible for the communication of product / enhancements launches to commercial stakeholders
4.Be responsible for ensuring training of stakeholders is carried out for each product / enhancement launch

Innovation
5.Fully understand current and potential future product use cases and explore improvements to enhance product usage
6.Understand commercial potential for new products or enhancements and provide forecast models grounded in sound consumer and market research
7.Good understanding of product lifecycle implications and is able to tailor product decisions to the right stage of a product vis-a-vis consumer needs
8.Understand business model for Tigo Cash and take part in discussions around pricing and new revenue generating opportunities
9.Investigate and maintain up to date knowledge on product innovations in other countries and companies in Mobile Money and the mobile industry in general. Collate and share ideas and relevant lessons from this

Tigo Cash Offer Design and Marketing:
10.Develop strategic promotional and marketing plans, with a clear view on impact measurement and expected impact
11.Develop campaigns to target specific groups of customer segments (e.g., Loyal customers, non-transacting customers, specific usage segments etc.)
12.Design promotions and offers for Tigo Cash consumers
13.Gather internal approvals for promotions and offers
14.Brief all internal and external stakeholders on promotions and offers so that they can support customers appropriately
15.Work with Brands team to plan marketing campaigns for offers and promotions
16.Brief all internal and external stakeholders on new products so that they can support customers appropriately
17.Work closely with Tigo Cash Technical Team to understand enhancements and new products to be rolled out.
18.Work with Tigo Brands team to plan appropriate marketing campaigns around new products.
19.Be primary liaison between Tigo Cash Commercial Team and Tigo Brands team in the requisition of new artworks for marketing collateral
20.Work closely with Tigo Supply Chain team to source marketing collateral of a high quality and competitive price
21.Work with Tigo Cash Customer Acquisition and Channel Teams to plan consumption of marketing goods and when orders and receipting of goods should take place to ensure sufficient stock for all planned activities
22.Oversee inventory management to ensure sufficient stock of marketing collateral
23.Manage Tigo Cash social media campaigns
24.Plan Tigo Cash press coverage
25.Work with Brands Team to track consumption of marketing slots, analyze marketing exposure and determine impact on product usage and uptake
26.Manage relationships with all marketing and sponsorship partners, including creation of MOUs and Terms of Reference, validation that contract is fulfilled, ensuring partners have all support required from Tigo to perform to the agreement

Consumer Understanding:
27.Be primary liaison between Tigo Cash Commercial Team and Tigo Customer Understanding Team
28.Design customer research studies to understand customer needs, preferences and perceptions
29.Design impact assessments to determine efficacy of marketing campaigns and promotions
30.Oversee enumeration of customer understanding research, working closely with Tigo Customer Understanding Team
31.Analyze customer understanding data to present learning and recommendations
32.Plan and conduct mystery shopping exercises to ascertain quality of Tigo Cash services provided

Market Intelligence
33. Be aware of and investigate the activities of competition in the market, propose counter activities and learnings from competitor efforts
34. Explore new avenues and potential partnerships for raising awareness of Tigo Cash via sponsorship or partnership

Desired Skills & Experience

1.University degree, masters level preferred
2.Experience in product development or on technical projects
3.Good experience with consumer research tools such as SPSS
4.Good experience with marketing concepts such as Net Promoter Score, Conjoint Analysis etc.
5.Comfort with new technology and IT tools
6.Preferably PMP or Prince certified
7.Proficiency with IT software such as Excel, power point, Word, etc is a must
8.Demonstrated experience in management of complex projects (operational and tactical)
9.Fluency in oral and written English.
10.Deep understanding of information and communication technology
11.Strong, innovative and creative problem solver and strategic thinker
12. Excellent execution skills and ability to measure impact of execution
13. Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
14. An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think strategically and act tactically
15. Ability to promote knowledge transfer through strong mentoring and team building skills
