The Ministry of Energy has secured funding from the World Bank for the oil and Gas Capacity Building Project. To assist the Project Co-ordinator to achieve project activities:

Assist the Project coordinator in the efficient operation of the PCU
Ensure that project funds are correctly administered monitor timelines, budgets and cost and ensure timely and accurate reporting of project expenditures
Salary & Allowances: Negotiable

Required Skills or Experience

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:

At least a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Management or any other relevant discipline
At least eight (8) years experience in administration or project management
Knowledge of World Bank’s guidelines and procedures in procurement and financial management
Energy sector, preferably petroleum industry work experience
Good leadership skills
Excellent, communication skills, including report writing and meeting presentations; and
Good networking and negotiating skills
Ability to provide Leadership for staff
Self motivated; ability to work extra hours and also with little supervision
Must be able to implement decisions and achieve result on time
Ability to write good reports, review and analyze reports
Ability to use computers and Office software package (MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc) knowledge of the e-use of web based systems
